1. Peace Lily (Spathyphyllum)

A beautiful, lush indoor plant that is a popular choice in many a home. They produce a beautiful white flower that adds charm to any room. Easy to care for and tolerating low light, the Peace Lily is the perfect partner for any indoor pot.

2. Mother in Laws Tongue/ Snake Plant (Sansivieria)

A very hardy plant that will just about handle full neglect., tolerating both sun and shade. What really defines this plant is its ability to offer unique colour bandings and provide a fascinating texture to any setting. They produce pups that you can break off and pot elsewhere or give to a friend.

3. Devil’s Ivy (Epipremnum aureum)

A tropical vine plant that has become a very hardy house plant. Can handle low light and neglect but look for its draping habit to provide some amazing styling throughout the home. Dangle over shelves or window sills for best effect.

7. Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum)

A very easy to grow member of the indoor plant family. They send out little “Spiderettes”that will dangle over the side of your pot giving the impression of little floating plants. The variety of greens they are available in are bound to work with any area of the home.

8. English Ivy (hedera Helix)

The unique foliage of the English Ivy and the ease of growing indoors make it one of the most underrated indoor plants available. Plant in a brightly lit area and don’t overwater for best results.

9. Rubber Fig (Ficus elastica)

This plant really makes the list as an ‘indoor tree’. Can tolerate indoor light with minimal care. The foliage colours and large leaf shape define this larger indoor plant.

10. Ctenanthe setosa

Amazing stripy leaves with a striking purple underside give this plant its place in the top 10. A light breeze and this plant looks like it is dancing, and so it should be!! They live very happily in homes as long as the water is kept up. Love this plant and you will be rewarded.
